To welcome back everyone in class 2 we created a class display. We used colouring pencils to design different patterns for the letters and a template to draw ourselves.
World Book Day
Today we celebrated World Book Day by dressing up and creating some pictures of our favourite book characters using potatoes.

We have been working on place value, addition and subtraction this half term. Our challenge here was to change the numbers and signs around to show our understanding of inverse operation. We all did really well and after we had worked with apparatus and then visually, we recorded the sums in our books.
Class 2 participated in the Harvest Trail around St Lalluwy's Church. They had great fun spotting the Harvest displays. They combined the trail with a walk around the village as part of their mapping topic in Geography. When they returned to school, the children drew a map of their route and finally they added a key.
