Welcome back!
We have had a fantastic first week back in Class 4. This week, we have been learning about all our new topics, including our new geography topic, ‘John O Groats’ to ‘Lands End’. The children are very excited to learn about the extraordinary journey. We also started our new
Literacy topic which is about how to write and explanation text. For this unit we will be writing about how chocolate is made. Finally, at the end of the week, the children took part in a Bikeability session. They all seemed to really enjoy it. All those who took part will receive a badge and a certificate.
Thanks for your continued support.

Welcome back!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and new year! We will be starting our new topic which is the Mayans. We will be learning about the origins of chocolate which I know the children will enjoy.
Swimming starts on the first Thursday back (11th January) so we require the children to have swimming kit (a swim costume and a towel in a bag) on this day. We need all consent forms back straight away. PE will continue to be on a Wednesday and Friday so the children will require kit on these days. This term there will continue to be no set homework. Children are required to practice their spellings, timetables and read each evening. Spelling test will also be on a Friday.
Thank you for your continued support,
